Cuter than cute?

Thanks to tomboy_femme for clearing up this ADORABLE Belle photo.

Cuteness break

Right before she came home.

Traveling Belle- I think this was in the car either to or from the airport in SoCal.

This is many people's favorite baby Belle photo. She is very cute here!

Belle's first boat ride.

Adventure Papillon!

She helps me study....

And of course, Belle had play time at the park!

Not much has changed since I last blogged.

I’ve been working, trying to learn to juggle two jobs. The fact they are so different helps, but neither pay terribly well. I haven’t given up on Phlebotomy… still waiting for placement but there has been a lot of back and forth on paperwork.

I have a plethora of partially written blogs in my head, on my laptop, on paper… they will get posted! Just not sure when…

The Droid is awesome, I wish I had some fun trips to take it on and could figure out how to use some of the features better but I’m not able to find good sites with info for simple things (like: syncing issues with the computer.) and just some other simpleish general stuff.

Healthcare- I want to read the actual bill that passed and do my own research before I say “YAY” or “BOOO” about the plan passing. As a non-student I am no longer eligible to be on my parent’s plans and currently have terrible insurance that basically only covers me getting hit by a bus.

Belle- is still ridiculously cute. She was spoiled by my mom with ridiculously awesome Salmon.

Hoping to make the next entry more than just a catchup.

Doggie Sciatica Update

Belle had a flare up of  her sciatica just after Thanksgiving, I decided that we’d just try the Chiropractor this time and wait for the shot- only getting that if she didn’t improve. Her symptoms weren’t as dramatic as her last flare up- I didn’t wait until she chewed herself raw- but this was a flare up.

Within 24 hours her chewing decreased, by 72 she had all but forgotten about gnawing on herself! She’s been showing no signs of the flare up!

We’re still looking for a VOM in our area, but for now I’m ok with this line of treatment. I realize some of you may have trouble with this idea, but I’m happy she can be treated without the shot that can cause bone loss – and it really seems to hurt on injection. She’s only three years old and I want to do everything possible to help Belle lead a happy and healthy life.

Kurt sent this to me...

But she sure is cute!

Belle seems semi hidden in this picture to me... maybe it's just me?

Leaves! :)

Cozy Fire

Pretty pretty fire! I'm so thankful I can make a fire for warmth. It's wonderfully comforting.

Update on Belle…

Belle was diagnosed with “doggie sciatica” about two weeks ago and was treated that day with a Cortisone shot and then a few days later saw my chiropractor (yes, I know, NOT a vet… we’re trying to find one who does VOM (Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation) ) which seemed to also help. She’s no longer scratching and biting her sides raw, she’s not yelping in pain, and (!!!) she’s back to her playful, happy, excited, lively self!

I’d like to use the shots as few times as possible because she is only three years old. My chiropractor has had a lot of experience with dogs and until I can find a VOM I think I’ll just take it flare up by flare up.

So that is good news!
